Welcome to the TCR Timeline! Here is where all in-character happenings within the game are documented, from site-wide plots to interactions between just two cats. Threads are added to the Timeline when they're created. Once a thread is completed, it must be linked in the Timeline Documentation thread. A staff member will then lock the thread and give it a short summary. Along with thread documentation, all significant events in a cat’s life (birth, death, and in a Clan cat’s case any ceremonies) will be recorded here. Summaries for each moon, as well as mini-summaries for each in-character group will be added once the moon has fully elapsed. If you see anything incorrect or missing from the Timeline, please contact a staff member or otherwise bring it to our attention! We’ll do our best to fix it as soon as we can. This thread is in chronological order, beginning from the start of the game in the Feather Moon 2020. Summary The temperature begins dropping, though the weather is still rather favourable. It feels as thought the forest is settling in for the leaf-bare that's fast approaching. A fairly uneventful moon, though RiverClan's old camp is scouted out by a troublesome macaw. Summary The weather takes a turn for the worse, and this moon lives up to its name. Lots of rain during this moon, and temperatures begin dropping, but not too cold just yet. Some key meetings take place this moon, and while nothing particularly groundbreaking happens, the foundation begins being laid for something greater to come. Summary A cold and blustery moon, with little in the way of prey. A harsh blizzard starts on the night of the 3rd, lasting for several days and trapping cats in their dens for the better part of this moon. Even so, some pivotal interactions take place, namely Shellspots meeting Miku and convincing her to work together, marking the beginning of RiverClan's rebirth. Otherwise, cats are mostly keeping to themselves this moon to stay warm, with a few exceptions. Summary After the snow storms of last moon, the Star Moon sees the entire forest covered in a blanket of white. It is still very, very cold and prey is scarce, but at least the strong winds are taking a bit of a break. A good moon for resting and keeping warm in dens. With the establishment of RiverClan imminent, there is lots of activity on the plains. Most cats elsewhere on the map are just doing their best to stay out of the cold. Summary A very cold moon just like the last, though thankfully there is not too much in the way of new snow. Cats are doing their best to stay warm and fed, and RiverClan hits a lucky stride in gaining new members after officially marking their beginnings as a Clan. Summary After a ceremony celebrating the Clan's first three apprentices, RiverClan explodes in size with the arrival of two new families to join their ranks. After everyone settles in, the Clan sets to work on training their almost overwhelming number of apprentices while they attempt to rebuild the camp. Summary The cats of the forest are treated to the first stirrings of newleaf, ironically enough! Despite its name, this moon sees the piles of snow covering the forest slowly beginning to melt, though cats should be careful of flooding. It's still quite chilly, but not as biting as before. Summary Continuing the trend of last moon, temperatures continue to head upward! Unfortunately, all that snow has to go somewhere, and there's a minor flood in the south part of the forest around mid-moon. Thankfully, no cats are badly effected by this, and life in the forest continues on as normal. RiverClan faces a few struggles, namely their medicine cat disappearing, though the forest is otherwise quiet this moon. Summary As the wheel of the seasons turns, bringing newleaf to the forest in full force, so too is fate set in motion. StarClan decides to send the Moonstone Prophecy to five cats of their choosing, in hopes that they will be able to spur along the revival of the Clans. In addition, other parties are moving about in the forest and making themselves at home. Summary A busy moon with little in the way of breakthroughs. Cats are moving in the forest, with the five cats who received the prophecy working to decipher its meaning and having little in the way of luck. In the meantime, several more cats join RiverClan, despite the first signs of disagreement between leader and deputy, and the group in Carrionplace struggles with a mysterious disease. Summary The forest now in the height of greenleaf, prey is plentiful for those travelling and those staying in their dens alike. The five chosen prophecy cats begin to make contact, and by the end of the moon they all manage to find each other and discover the thing they've been seeking: the Moonstone. The cats in carrionplace are not so lucky, and their leader Patch succumbs to his sickness, leaving the rest of the group grieving. Summary With greenleaf in full swing, more cats are out wandering in the forest and making each other's acquaintance. Summary True to its name, tensions in the forest during this moon come to a head, and after a tense altercation between Shellspots and her deputy Flare results in his exile, RiverClan is effectively split in two. Flare ends up founding what will be the beginnings of ThunderClan. Meanwhile, other members in the rogue group by Carrionplace are growing sick, though they're lucky enough to run into a healer before things grow dire. Summary Another warm and sociable moon, cats are moving around in the forest and getting to know each other.
