PhantomStarss Date Prey 15|Name Mushroom layed belly up on the large rock, Loud and deep snoring rumble in their chest. It was one of those days, nice weather, not too hot, not too cold, just right for snoozing in the sun. Mother nor father wanted anything. Nor did their siblings. Leaving mushroom to sleep the day away. It was one of their favorite things to do after all. To day was perfect-
A loud boom of commotion ringed over their ears, startling them awake. They flipped over onto their stomach, Orange eyes scanning. Then they landed on it: RiverClan. The strange group of cats that called themselves by the name of one of the old clans, and seemed to wanna to work themselves to death.
A large rumbling huff escaped their nose. Mushroom didn't have a problem with them, at first. As long as the stayed to their corner Mushroom didn't mind them, but they didn't. They marked Mushrooms rock, claiming it as their own. So Mushroom, kindly, reclaimed their rock by sent marking it, and then claimed everything RiverClan-at least the stuff out of their camp-Liked.
Mushroom normally wouldn't do so much work in one day, be they deserved it. But the Tom will never understand why anyone would wanna join one of these things. All you do is work, work, work, work! It doesn't seem like a nice life. Wasn't their supposed to be more of them anyways? Eh, whatever.
Mushroom shaked their head, rolling over to go back asleep. Despite this minor inconvenience they could go back to their perfect day-
A foot step.
Mushroom froze mid roll. That was definitely a cat. Was it RiverClan? They had heard the clans could be aggressive.
...
Eh. Mushroom rolled to the other side, facing the opposite way from the other cat. Perhaps the stranger will just mistake them as a strange bear. Mushroom couldn't stop the loud, rumble groan that came from themselves.

orion - 16 moons - solitary - future thunderclan - he.him current mood: anxious about his missing sister, happy to be alive
Orion's ears twitched with every sound. Hydra had been gone since early that morning and she hadn't mentioned having to be out longer than a couple hours. Now he was following a small stream towards the edge of the forest. It wasn't unusual for her to be gone perse, but still he couldn't help but to worry for her. He already regretted letting his two brothers leave them. Though it was nice not having to listen to Cetus complain while their brother, Ursa agreed with him. The duo was better off echoing themselves instead of annoying the snot out of Orion.
The tom shook out his coat and stumbled forward a little with it. He regained his footing before slowly walking passed a bramble. The sunlight hit his blue eyes and he winced at the brightness. In front of him laid a spot he hadn't yet seen. Beautiful stones covered the earth in their beige and whites. Among the rocks he spotted a large cat. Instantly Orion was on the defensive. It was more out of caution than actual fear. The tom slowly walked forward out of his cover and flicked his tail in a greeting towards the large cat.
"Greetings," the tom meowed. He tried hard to keep his body in a neutral position. He didn't know if the cat would try to chase him off or if he would try something far worse. Even though Orion's father had taught him to defend himself, it was often hard to read another cat's own battle style. Which then caused him to receive unnecessary wounds to him. "Hate to bother you, but you haven't seen a she-cat around here, have you? She kind of looks like me, but a little lighter in the face," he asked as he shifted his body into a sitting position.
Orion remained seated in a respectable distance from the cat. Their eyes seemed to hold age, but Orion was horrible at guessing just how old a cat was. He wrapped his tail around his paws and waited for the cat to engage in talk.

PhantomStarss Date Prey 15|Name gecko "Greetings," The sound was like claws on a chalkboard. So it didn't work. Mushroom flipped themselves over to look at the much younger Tom. Orange eyes boring down on the stiff cat.
"Hate to bother you, but you haven't seen a she-cat around here, have you? She kind of looks like me, but a little lighter in the face,"
Now they had to do work, lovely. Well, they could simply stand up, this cat looks like they would run off it they simply did. But thinking-most of the time-is easier than getting up. Now mushroom had to think. They covered their eyes with one of their massive paws. Who looked like this cat? Or- who looked like this cat who still lived here. Hmm.
They uncovered their eyes, rolling onto their stomach, and using their tail to gesture to the river clan camp.
"Lilypaw?"
Despite how large, intimidating, and powerful mushroom was. Their voice, like always, was I quiet, raspy, whisper.

Orion watched the cat curiously. They seemed deep in thought with themselves. It wasn't something Orion was accustomed to. Usually he was yelled at or chased within the surrounding territories. Mostly by cats that had taken up residence ages ago and didn't want some young hotshot taking their home; which he never wanted anyway.
The lynx point tom tilted his head and raised a brow at the cat's weird gestures. Orion almost jumped with the cat rolled over. Lilypaw? Orion furrowed his brow in confusion now. What was a Lilypaw? What a weird name for a cat. "No. Her name is Hydra," he responded, "We come from that way." He nodded towards the opposite way the cat was pointing. He had never gone where the silver tabby was pointing and wondered what lay that way. He shifted his gaze back to the cat wondering if they had the time to explain.
"Sorry, but what's a Lilypaw?" he finally asked.

Date Prey 15|Name gecko "No. Her name is Hydra, We come from that way." The Tom nodded the opposite way Mushroom was pointing, Mushroom simply shaked their head. What's a Hydra anyways?
There was a long, awkward, pause. Good, the Tom is about to leave. They can go back to sleep-
"Sorry, but what's a Lilypaw?" the young Tom asked.
Mushroom raised their head up again with a loud groan. Well, scratch that they guessed. They lifted their paw, rubbing their brow. What was the easiest way to explain this?
"Apprentice..of RiverClan."
Mushroom used their tail once more to point to the camp.
"They.."
What did they do again?
"They.."
Rather than work themselves to death, but mushroom would have to answer more questions if they said that.
"Their a strange group."
Good enough, right?

Apprentice..of RiverClan
RiverClan? Orion's ears twitched at the new information. He had heard of groups of cats, that wasn't strange, but the name itself interested him. He knew what a river entailed, but what was a 'clan'? The tom looked over the cat in front of him again squinting his eyes. It wasn't often that the tom was stumped or this awkward around another cat - though the awkward way the cat spoke didn't help much.
Hmmph.
"Thank you for your time. If you see a cat that looks like me, let her know I went towards the two-leg dens to find a nest, will you?" Orion doubted that either cat would run into each other nor would this cat tell his sister what she needed to know. She was a grown up though, hardly needing the protection of her brother much longer.
With a flick of his tail, Orion nodded towards the cat and turned to walk off. No need to confuse the cat anymore then they already seemed to be.
