GHOST

PERSONALITY

Ghost is a quiet fellow. Alert, aware of his surroundings, but not paranoid. They're confident, at least they appear to be. And others see him in an annoying light, like he's judging everyone but himself ... and that's true. The tom always seems to have narrowed eyes, peering down at others with a gaze of disdain. As if everyone is lower than him. Apart from his part-god complex, they can be quite demanding of others, using an authortive voice when talking to others. Adding onto that, just like any edgy, egotistical, confident character, he has anger issues.

What most don't realize though is their low self-esteem, and harsh view of themselves. Their parents had high expectation of perfection, and though it seems that Ghost is far from perfect, almost the opposite, he still caries those values and expectations. This is what leads him to feel like he's can never be enough. He learnt with the time he had with his parents that you should hide your feelings. Your weaknesses. Their parents always did the same. Always appeared so ... confident, acting as if everyone else was scum under their paws. Being the only child, he did what he could to impress them, and tried to be the same.

HISTORY

TIMELINE

0 moons > birth
(Ghost was never the kit who was adored and loved by their parents. Even young, he was left alone by himself for most of the day in the den. His parents were out and about, hunting or getting into fights, probably.)

8 moons > the fire
(Everything was hot. Everything was hot and it was red and so bright. Oh so bright. Mother and Father were nowhere to be found. He was left alone in the burning den, smoke entering his lungs. He was coughing, tears stinging his eyes. Mother! Father! Someone! It took a while, but the little tom made it out by himself. His parents later found him, not showing any sign of worry.)

12 moons > father's death
(There he saw him, Ghost's father, bloodied and slowly dying, the life dying out of his eyes. Yet the older tom still looked at his son one last time with a look of disdain. That look pushed him into retreating his emotions. Ghost worked hard to be like his father. A cat who looked down on all others. Even though he hated his father for being so harsh and cruel, for neglecting him, the tom still found himself wanting to impress his dying parent, wanting to be exactly like him.)

14 moons > questioning
(At 14 moons, Ghost starts to question his gender, as well as his sexuality. He had stumbled across a tom when out hunting (no one had ever taught him) and when the tom had offered to help, Ghost accepted in an instant. It was out of character for him, to accept help, to be so friendly. Something just drew him in. After that day, Ghost never saw him again.)

19 moons > goodbye
(Ghost, now confirmed as demi-boy, was kicked out of the den by his mother. Driven away with teeth and claws and harsh words. He wasn't welcome anymore. They had gotten into a fight, and both left with wounds that would surely scar. Just like his father, they hated their mother, but adored her the same. He was cold now. Confident in himself. A touch egotistical, egocentric. He scared others away in a violent manner, guarded any scrap of land he could. Acted as if he was above all others, even if they bested him. Beginners luck, surely?)

20 moons > home
(A good way from any other stray cats and two-legs, he found unclaimed land. Though days after marking it and settling in, he found 'clan' cats living not too far away from him. Any cat that has passed into his territory has been threatened, possibly (most likely)  scarred. He stayed away from the clan cats, only taking interest when he had exhausted the prey around his territory.)

appearance: a medium-haired lilac tom. he's slightly smaller than most stray cats, but his claws seem naturally sharper. his snout seems slightly longer, his left hind leg litteres with scars. large, olive-green eyes.
