Stellar saved Chester's life when he was on the edge of death after fighting and subsequently killing his brother, Merry. Chester, being the hostile tom he is, was rather unwelcoming of Stellar's assistance despite it being what was keeping him alive. As she helped him get back on his feet and the more time they spent together, Chester ended up falling in love with Stellar despite not realizing it himself. Now that he's on his feet again, he's left their shared den. Despite saying he wouldn't be coming back, he still returns to see her often with the excuse that he has to repay his debt.
