Snowy Owl is a storyteller. Xe is the explorer who searches every crook and nanny for its secrets, the philosopher who tries to make sense of the world, and the romanticist with an appetite for the dramatic and artistic. It was xir flare for storytelling that brought xir to the the forest. Xe is open and eager to try new experiences, to learn more about the world xe inhabits. Xir passion for life and learning is what drives xir forward. Xe speaks with a flowery, poetic tongue, which can come across as pompous or elitist, though that isn’t the case for Snowy.
He just loves to be flamboyant and artistic, and this is his way of expressing himself. He’s got a free and independent spirit, seeking to find the bounds of conventions and break them. But as forward and bold as he is with self-expressive art, he struggles with face-to-face conversations with strangers. He has bad social anxiety, constantly worrying about the approval of others. He’s sensitive and emotional and hates dealing with conflict. His optimism can blind him to seeing negatives and flaws, and he struggles with handling criticism.
History:
Snowy Owl found his calling to the forest ever since he was old enough to eat prey. He heard the legends of the clans of old, of wild warriors who lived in the forest, and the powerful cats who roamed the stars. These stories were little more than bedtime tales to nurse his litter to sleep, but he was inspired by them nonetheless.
At 24 moons, xe left xir life as a kittypet and traveled to the forest, eager to live in the territories the clans once resided in. But as it turned out, surviving in the wild was not quite what xe expected. For one thing, the forest was a lot harsher than was made out in stories, and Snowy Owl was no good at hunting or fighting. While being chased by a badger during xir first moon, xe met Gemstone, who saved xir and taught xir how to survive the wild. The two have been travelling since.
