Personality
General:
A well meaning and kind cat, Goose tries to find the good in all cats he meets. It does not always work out, as some cats truly do have dark, ulterior motives, but he feels he must give everyone at least once chance. Be assured, though, that despite Goose’s possibly silly sounding name, he has full confidence in his actions. This self-assured attitude flows into how he speaks, giving persuasive speeches to rally those around him.
Goose tries not to let other things get in the way once he sets his mind to something, and currently his mind is set on seeing WindClan rebuilt. He is determined to see it through, no matter what. His Clan will be full of warriors that he intends to watch over like a motherly father figure, making sure they’re well cared for, while also being sure they are strong enough to hold their own. However, Goose tends to reveal emotional slowly, and not give opinions hastily. It will take time for him to grow used to other cats.
All cats have their bad traits. Goose can be very demanding, especially if they are kin or he feels they have true potential. He’s also completely intolerant of disloyalty, and will not hesitate to throw out a cat that is treasonous. Possibly worse than that, if a cat betrays him, he remains resentful of them, taking many moons if not years to forgive their transgressions.
Traits: benevolent, confident, eloquent; determined, maternal (paternal?), reserved; demanding, intolerant, resentful.

History
At a young age, Goose wondered about the great outdoors. He had been born among three other siblings in a twoleg nest. They lived a good life with their mother, Willow, until they were around two moons old—then their twoleg abandoned them. All of them. It was unclear to them why their twoleg decided to cast them out, but the door never again opened for them no matter how much they pleaded.
Their father Cypress was an indoor-outdoor cat as it was, so he knew of a place they could go. It took several days to convince them that their twoleg wasn’t going to let them back in, but after it became apparent not even stubborn Rose could deny they needed to leave. They traveled from the garden on out into the countryside, where they found a twoleg farm. Upon this farm was a barn, and with that a cat’s wildest dreams: nearly endless mice. A kind barn cat named Lynn showed them the ropes and let them stay with her in the barn, a wonderful place for the kits to grow. Lynn told them stories about Clan cats that once lived in the forest and moors many moons ago, more moons than she knew how to count, and Goose was enraptured with the idea.
As he got older, Goose began to go farther and farther from the barn. He spoke to many cats to get bits and pieces of Clan life, but most knew very little. It wasn’t until one of them mentioned that the Clan cats used to believe that the stars in the sky—in Silverpelt—were the souls of their warrior ancestors, and they used to call them StarClan. Supposedly the Clans used to have a way to talk to them, but it was unknown to outsiders. Goose is determined to find a way to speak with this StarClan and learn the ways of a Clan cat, and to rebuild the Clan closest to where his family lives: WindClan. He doesn’t have to be the leader, but he wants to see the Clan thrive once more.
Though he travels often, he still goes back to his family every once in a while to check in on them. One day he came back to Rose and Smokey with new mates and a kit each. They weren’t sure why the litters were so small, but he was rather glad they were. They were all still living in the barn with Lynn and that made for a lot of mouths to feed. Goose hoped that once WindClan was revived, his siblings at least might come and join him.
