Do more
than just
exist
A twoleg nest, rotting and roof crumbling, stood on the outskirts of the lovely twoleg-place. A harsh contrast on the lively area. Behind it, grass grew wildly with wood that separated it from the forest rotted, some completely fallen over and some on the verge. Foliage grew thick and blinding, and small life flourished in its undergrowth. Mice scurried everywhere, making squeaks every once in awhile as grass swayed to the gentle breeze.
This is what it would usually look like.
However thick snow covered whatever it could cling to, making a harsh white contrast. Mice scurried in tunnels underneath the snow, hidden away from eyes at the surface.
A tall black shape scurried from the snow in the forest, and carefully approached the abandoned twoleg nest. Pale yellow eyes peered curiously from behind the standing, rotting wood before slowly getting closer to the mess of the area.
From behind the rotting wood planks appeared a tall, muscular she-cat. Her long fur stuck out any place it could, and her black coat made her a harsh contrast to the snow in the daylight.
Her ears flicked as she carefully placed her steps in the deep snow, listening for the scurrying of the mice below.
This all-black she-cat, was Pandora. A lonely, albeit intimidating soul who was just a kind soul. At times.
Pandora paused for a few breaths, before pushing herself off the ground with her hind-legs and diving towards a spot in the snow. As her paws crushed the snow underneath, she heard mice scurrying with panic while one let out squeals of panic and pain.
Gaping her maw and digging her face wildly into the snow below, she stood tall with a mouse wriggling wildly in her jaws.
With a quick shake to get rid of the snow off her face and to prevent the mouse from biting at her face, she looked for a place to rest and enjoy her meal.
Opting to rest on one of the fallen odd-looking logs, she kicked off as much snow as she could off of it before curling up happily, mouse at her paws.
