HISTORY⌛
People are trapped in history and history is trapped in them ≡
Calypso is the sister of Morpheus; older sister by a few minutes if anyone cared to ask - a fact that she often enjoyed rubbing into her younger brother's face. They are sibling descendants of many moons worth of friendship between two families who were from the clans. She is the sunshine to her brother's moon and despite their healthy dose of rivalry he was the closest person she had in their life growing up. Around the time the pair were 6 moons of age their mother Desiree passed away during a cold Leaf-Bare which essentially over the next several moons would drive their father Heist into utter madness and forcing her brother to step up as head of the family despite not being a full adult yet. Life for her changed after her mother's death and despite trying to be the light in both her brother and father's lives her efforts were in vain as both deteriorated. Even so, when her father god so bad he'd lash out Morpheus was always there to stand in his way shielding her from the brunt of his anger and delusional mind even as Morpheus himself seemed to withdraw from her. They did not speak much until their father's untimely death. One day Morpheus left with their father and returned without him; she was told their father had been taken by Two-legs - the truth too horrifying for Morpheus to tell her that in fact their father was nothing but roadkill on the dark pavement. She still thinks her father is getting help.
When they became adults the siblings traveled around a lot trying to find a home for themselves but Calypso was always a free spirit and despite the weight of both parents not present in their lives the silver tabby wished for a happy ending that the misfortune of their lives had taken from them. She knew that if she stayed with her stoic and distant brother with him worrying over her and shielding her from experiencing her own path not shed by the darkness of their kithood she had to leave him. She did not tell him the truth of her departure; only that she was seeking adventure - in truth, she was abandoning him with a grieving and guilty heart so that she herself could find peace that her brother could not give her. They haven't seen each other since so she does not know where about or the life her brother has been living. She is unaware that she now has a niece that her brother had adopted as his daughter a few moons after the siblings parted; perhaps one day if the ancestors above grant them - they will meet again like one big happy family once again.
