For description, borage is typically blue to purple to white. It’s star-shaped and it has a fuzzy stem. It’s also known as starflower, which could be interesting to tie into the world (maybe borage is known as starflower or borage holds some significance in the clans).
In terms of usage, borage treats seizures and acts as a sedative in real life. In Warriors canon, they increase milk for queens and bring down fevers. Maybe the two uses could be merged?

- Borage is a common garden herb. It’s found in twolegplace gardens, sides of thunderpath, in fields (such as the Moors perhaps?), and in woodlands like the Forest.
- All parts of a borage plant are used, including the leaves, stems, flowers, and seeds, but it seems borage leaves are the most used in Warriors canon. Borage leaves are chewed and eaten for its effects.
- To store the leaves, keep them in a cool and dry place. They can last for a few days.
- It grows in different blooms from early greenleaf to early leaf-bare. It’s pretty hardy herb and can grow in most soil types, so as long as they’re kept dry and drained.
- Discussed usages for borage are in the Discord server, but for access on here, they’re good for: cough, fever, arthritis, asthma, skin conditions, inflammation, milk supply, and bellyaches.
