Lily || She-cat || 9 moons Lily tried to imagine the sort of creature that Flare described. Incredibly fluffy, enough so to take a nap on, yet vicious enough to rip a cat apart. The best she could do was picture one of her soft cat beds suddenly growing teeth and snapping at her tail. She wasn’t sure whether to laugh or shiver at the mental image.
Thankfully, Flare was already jumping into explaining how her assessment would go, and her paws started tingling in excitement. She could do this! She’d show Flare just how good at fighting she already was, and then he’d make her even better at it!
"Okay!"
She tried to copy his crouch, remembering when she was younger and would pounce on her littermates after sneaking up on them. It wouldn’t be too much different from that, right? Flare was just... bigger. At his command, she pushed back as heavily as she could into her haunches, then sprang up to leap directly at him, sand spraying out behind her.

Riley Zesha I'll let you guys decide how her attempt turns out! :D

Zinnia • She-cat • 9 moons • Kittypet Zinnia imagined a weird, super fluffy cat with the face of a dog and shuddered. Even if that’s not what a fox looked like, she wasn’t sure she wanted to meet one anytime soon. With the wounds they gave Flare they could probably just gobble her and Lily right up. Shaking away the mental image, she tried to focus on what was happening in front of her.
Lily had slipped into a crouch that Zinnia remembered all too well. It was one she used to use when she wanted to sneak up on one of them and pounce. She used to scare Basil right out of his fur doing that, but it had never gotten old for her. Somehow Zinnia doubted it would be as effective this time. They would soon find out.
She watched as her sister sprung from her place in the sandy hollow, charging towards Flare. It was a more head-on approach, which she had expected from Lily. Straight forward as usual. Her eyes found their way to Flare and observed how he’d react to this young cat barreling towards him. Riley Kaeldra
