Appearance:

Spider is still young, and as such hasn’t reached his full size. While he still has a fair bit of kitten fluff, as he grows it will disappear and be replaced with a sleek coat of short fur. His distinct mackerel tabby stripes against his ginger fur look a bit like spider webs, hence his name. Bits of white cover his toes and throat, and his eyes are a dark amber colour.

Personality:


Having grown up on his family’s tales of the forest and the dangers lurking in them, Spider is the most cautious out of his siblings. He likes to know all the facts before he jumps into things, so he can weigh the risks versus the rewards. Of course, he is still young, so he’s often swayed into following his littermates (mostly Gale) on one quest or another. While Gale is the most likely to get the three of them into some sort of trouble, Spider is usually the one to use his wits to get them out of it. As exasperated as he acts, he does enjoy the adventures their boisterous brother leads them on.

Spider can be rather stubborn, though. If he feels that his siblings have come up with a plan that is just too mouse-brained, he’ll act as the voice of reason and refuse to go along with it. Sometimes this results in him being the “tattle-tale” of the bunch, spilling his littermates’ plans to his parents and older brother. He feels that honesty is the best policy though, especially if one of them might get hurt otherwise. He tends to think his way is the best way, and if his littermates disagree then that's just too bad. 

While he hasn’t really met any cats outside of his little family, this tom is a bit prickly when it comes to strangers.

History:

Spider was the middle kit of his parents’ second litter, born nearly two years after their older brother Flare. They were watched over closely by their whole family, warned constantly not to go into the forest without an older cat with them. Spider took these warnings to heart, and as such is quite the cautious individual. Like his littermates, he rather idolizes his big brother Flare and wants to be like him. He enjoys listening to the tales his brother has collected over the moons and wonders sometimes if they could be true.
