Name: Strawberry
Desired Name: Strawberryleaf, Strawberrynose, or Strawberryflame -- depending on the path she ends up taking!
Allegiance: Loner (future WindClan)
Rank: N/A
Age: 17 moons
Birth Moon: Wind Moon 2019 (hah!)
Sex: Molly
Appearance:
Strawberry is an eclectic mix of traits -- she is a cinnamon classic tabby, giving her cinnamon-and-cream fur with a vivid swirl on her sides. However, that's not all -- she's also a tortoiseshell, meaning that mixed up in all that slightly pinkish-red color, there's proper ginger as well! Strawberry also bears white markings on her face, underbelly, paws, and tail. To top the whole effect off, she's odd-eyed -- one eye is blue, and the other is an equally unusual (though not impossible!) brown. She's a tall and thin molly, though her medium-length fur is well-insulated against cold.

Personality:
Strawberry is, first and foremost, incredibly odd. She does things without any apparent rhyme or reason, and even she doesn't really understand why she's doing what she does half the time. She frequently can be heard declaring obscure superstitions that almost feel as though they're utter nonsense designed to get her out of a particular situation that she does not wish to be in; her superstitions seem arbitrary and occasionally even contradict each other, but never accuse her of a lack of enthusiasm. Strawberry does absolutely everything with enthusiasm. She is curious, perhaps even nosy, and despite being called annoying by some, her glowing optimism lights up a room. She's perhaps one of the friendliest cats you'll ever meet, and some have accused her of being unintelligent because of it. This isn't exactly true -- Strawberry lacks emotional intelligence and can hurt people's feelings without meaning to, but she's creative and holds on to just about every piece of trivia she's ever heard. What she is is gullible. While not necessarily easily manipulated (because nobody can convince Strawberry to do anything other than follow her heart), she'll believe anything no matter how many times you've told her. She catches on eventually, but wants to believe in the best in people, and can be duped rather easily because of this. After all, she just assumes that everyone is going to be as honest and caring as she is! She does genuinely love everyone, and wants to see the world be better -- but that doesn't change the fact that she is, as some would say, an acquired taste.
History:
Scratch was a feral who had a passing infatuation with a bright-eyed outdoor cat who hadn't been neutered. Shortly thereafter, she was victim to a trap-and-release program -- unfortunately, she couldn't be spayed because she was pregnant. The rescue in question were unwilling to perform the procedure, and neither were they willing to release her, because she was unlikely to fall for the same trick twice. Instead, she was brought to a volunteer's home, where she was kept in a very clean and empty garage for the duration of her pregnancy. Unfortunately, it wasn't exactly the best decision, and the stress of the situation combined with being a young, first-time mother away from her clowder led to her passing during kitting. Her kits were nursed by humans, including little Strawberry.
After a couple of months, though, it was time to adopt the kittens out. There was no need to leave them to be ferals -- they'd been raised by humans from the day they were born, and were well socialized. After all of the kittens were spayed, neutered, and vaccinated, they were advertised online for adoption. Eventually, Strawberry was picked up -- the housefolk who picked her (and were picked in turn by the rescue) were selected because they had a daughter with odd eyes as well, just like Strawberry. Shortly after, the family ended up moving -- they'd wanted to get a cat for their daughter because they wanted her to have a friend after the move in the first place. Strawberry was about seven months old when she was brought to her new-new home.
Everything was fine for a while, but unfortunately, children don't make the best decisions and Strawberry wasn't smart enough to know to stay in the garden. The first time she saw a bird fly by, she was off like a jet, and by the time she realized that she was getting hungry and wanted to go home, she'd been wandering for so long that she no longer had any idea where home was. Luckily, she was clever enough to figure out how to feed herself until she got the hang of hunting, and then she had no reason to go back in the first place. In her curiosity, Strawberry eventually found her way to a new place altogether -- and once she got there, she began to have the strangest of dreams...
