Hare was on the moors, looking for rabbits to chase down for a meal. It had been about a moon since she arrived there and it was going way better than the forest. But then again, who even likes trees? They cover the sky and when it's raining, it doesn't even shield you. It just has water gathering on the leaves before you walk underneath those leaves and splash! You're all the wet!
But, at least on the moors, there were tunnels Hare could hide in when there was rain and an open sky to stare at. It was really pretty during the night. She feels like she could stare up at them all the time and get lost. Well... Actually no. Hare would get memorized by them but not for long. There was always something better for her to do or explore. Plus, the stars never moved. They didn't even mean anything to her. She heard stories of the stars, but that didn't mean the stars held any meaning.
Dang.
Hare watched as a rabbit darted away from her. Her tail twitched. There she was again, getting lost in her thoughts and losing another prey. She took a deep breath. She really needed to clear her mind.
Nothing has really been happening she and felt like she was going insane. No interaction for about a moon and nothing interesting either. Maybe the tunnels but she never went far in the long ones. She also hadn't seen a cat in a while. The last cat was in the forest and... what was that she-cat's name again? Doope? Dawn? Dapple! Her name was Dapple!
She shook her head. No more getting distracted in her thoughts. She straighten her tail and walked forward, her ears and eyes ready to catch sound or see any sign of prey. She did see a big grey floofball in the distance and she went to creep over before realizing... Rabbits don't really look like cats. Was that another cat? She stood up straight, her ears angled towards the cat.
Was this cat a danger? She should probably go up to the cat and say hi. Plus, Hare was confident in herself to outrun the cat if anything turned bad. She licked her paw to hide away any nervousness and walked over to the cat. Paws crossed, that cat was friendly.
